To Earn Gold (coins) in the Elder Scrolls Online Computer Game:
You can earn Gold from doing Quests (along with Experience Points and Skill Points); from Daily Writs (Work such as Tailoring, Wood working, Blacksmithing, Provisioning (cooking), or making Player House Furnishings); from killing Beasts or Dragons (North Elsweyr) or other NPCs; from stealing (containers, pickpocket NPCs, etc.) and laundering (uses Thief Guild DLC); from raiding Dungeons (Public, Group, Delves, etc.); from selling in Guild Stores any items found in-game; additionally the Game Daily Rewards sometimes offers Free Gold (10,000 to 100,000 per month). Other Currencies include Alliance Points (PVP), Endeavors (from Daily Quests called Endeavors), etc.
You should also invest in a Banker and Merchant NPC, to sell while adventuring.
